X-WR-CALDESC:LIFT & RISE events are for children ages 5-12 with intellectua

 gistration for each event closes the Sunday before the event at 6:00 pm.\n
 \nWe are combining LIFT & RISE into one group in order to facilitate frien
 dships\, offer activities for children 5-12 more frequently\, and provide 
 more opportunities to practice social skills and learn through play. LIFT 
 & RISE are play- and experience-based\, structured programs where children
  explore confidence\, friendships\, and early independence in a safe and s
 upportive environment. Sessions run 90 minutes. Participation is encourage
 d\, not forced.\n\nParticipants will design\, build\, and play their own g
 ames using dice\, cards\, and creative materials. Participants will practi
 ce turn-taking\, flexible thinking\, and social interaction while creating
  game rules and inviting peers to play. This session supports independence
 \, communication\, and confidence through fun\, interactive play.
