Helping Kids with Autism Build Social Skills - Together with Their Parents

This 9-part series provides early intervention in social skills for elementary-aged children with Autism. Two separate classes, one for students in grades K–2 and one for grades 3–5, will focus on building key social and behavioral skills such as following directions, taking turns, sharing attention, expressing needs, understanding personal space, and solving problems.

Each class is limited to 12 students to allow for personalized instruction.

At the same time, caregivers will attend their own class to learn the same strategies being taught to their students and to receive personalized assistance with troubleshooting behaviors and interventions. These sessions will help parents and caregivers support social skill development at home, at school, and in the community.

This joint approach builds stronger, more consistent support systems and a more inclusive community for all.

Classes for students in grades Kindergarten through 2nd and their caregivers will meet the following Thursdays:
9/4/25, 9/18/25, 10/2/25, 10/16/25, 10/30/25, 11/13/25, 12/4/25, 12/18/25, 1/15/26
