ALTC is a designated Area Agency on Aging covering an eight-county area in SE Washington State: Asotin, Benton, Columbia, Franklin, Garfield, Kittitas, Walla Walla, and Yakima counties.

  • A one of a kind organization in the United States, providing consultation and education beyond their geographical service area. In particular, AADD offers an Annual Conference on Aging with Developmental Disabilities.

  • Feature Issue on Aging and People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, addressing the question, “What can be done today to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are aging?”

  • As your son or daughter gets older, you’re faced with a complex set of issues, concerns and emotions to navigate.

  • A self-directed questionnaire for every stage of life. For retirement: "Just because you’re getting older, doesn’t mean you stop having goals. They just might look different than when you were younger. Instead of employment goals, you might have other things you’d like to do during the day, such as classes and hobbies. And you might need different people to support you."

  • Growing, learning and achieving does not end at adulthood. It continues throughout life, and at your own pace.
