Participation Notice: This event does not have volunteer support. Families, caregivers, or respite providers are responsible for supervising participants at all times. Please plan to complete a background check and attend with your participant to provide the level of support they need.
LIFT & RISE events are for children ages 5-12 with intellectual and developmental disabilities; no prior group experience necessary. Registration for each event closes the Sunday before the event at 6:00 pm.
Participants will enjoy the morning at Lion’s Park. We will be working on taking turns, respecting others boundaries, and creating our own boundaries too. This will also be a great opportunity to practice taking turns and building friendships. For this event it will be at the playground, not the splashpad.
