Safety Reminder: LIFT & RISE events are designed to be fun, safe, and inclusive. Our volunteers will provide group support and supervision. While we do our best to minimize risks, participants who have a history of elopement (wandering or running) may require additional support from a family member or caregiver (a background check must be completed), especially at public events. Please let us know in advance if your participant may need extra attention so we can plan volunteer coverage accordingly.
LIFT & RISE events are for children ages 5-12 with intellectual and developmental disabilities; no prior group experience necessary. Registration for each event closes the Sunday before the event at 6:00 pm.
Join us for a relaxing afternoon enjoying a movie and hanging out with friends. We will set up our very own movie theater and demonstrate what it looks like to be respectful of others during movie time. Before we leave participants will also share one thing that they are looking forward to as they start the new school year!
