Safety Reminder: LIFT & RISE events are designed to be fun, safe, and inclusive. Our volunteers will provide group support and supervision. While we do our best to minimize risks, participants who have a history of elopement (wandering or running) may require additional support from a family member or caregiver (a background check must be completed), especially at public events. Please let us know in advance if your participant may need extra attention so we can plan volunteer coverage accordingly.
LIFT & RISE events are for children ages 5-12 with intellectual and developmental disabilities; no prior group experience necessary. Registration for this event closes the Sunday, Sept 13, 2026.
Participants will enjoy this music event at Gesa Power House Theater. From Gesa Power House Theater, “Drew, Jack, and Korum are three teachers who make kid’s music that grows out of their days in their classrooms. They continue to be praised across the country for singable, danceable songs that parents enjoy as much as their kids.”
Participants can not be dropped off to stay on their own. This event requires a parent/caregiver to attend with participant(s).
