Spotlight on Amy Harris

I first met Amy when WWVDN was picked to be a recipient of the Battle of the Badge baseball game between the firefighters and police officers. Here was this spunky red head running a mile a minute getting everything organized and all the kinks worked out to make the event a great success. Which it was.
Amy joined the Board of Directors for WWVDN in August of 2015. In May of 2016, we formed the Dynamic Devils Softball team where Amy was coach extraordinaire. Since then Amy has coached each year of the Dynamic Devils and has added Adult basketball and whiffle ball to the mix. When Amy is asked to lead or assist in an activity or event she does it wholeheartedly. She has been involved with our Ability Walk fundraiser, Winter Ball and many other activities. She has been the WWVDN Board president for the past two years. Although she will no longer be on the board, she is diligently going to continue to volunteer as a coach in our recreation program.
The staff of WWVDN thanks Amy for her service and appreciates her passion for our organization, our mission, and those we serve. Amy has been a bright light to all she has coached and is well-loved by our athletes.
