The Harvest Party this year was held at the Center for Children & Families (formerly Blue Ridge Elementary) and featured carnival-style games in the gym. There was a wide variety of excellent costumes worn by young and old. We tried something new and held a chili & cornbread cookoff contest this year. After all the votes were in, Laura Bryant and Hannah McMullen were crowned winners for their chili collaboration, and Nancy Steen's delightful golden cornbread earned her the title of best tasting cornbread for the night.
A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped set up, clean up, sign us in, and run the games and face painting in the gym. What a wonderful evening!
