Season Finale: A Joyful End to Challenger Baseball 2025
Friday, May 16 marked the grand finale of our 2025 Challenger Baseball season — and what a fantastic finish it was! The day kicked off with warm-ups alongside the Cubs Little League Team, followed by games of catch and plenty of “at bats.” Cubs players stepped up as buddies, running the bases with our Challenger athletes and sharing in the excitement of every hit, stolen base, and home run moment.
After the final at bat, Coach Julio and Assistant Coach Tyler gathered everyone to recognize each participant’s hard work and heart throughout the season. Players were honored with personalized certificates, celebrating six weeks of growth, fun, and friendship.
To cap off the celebration, families and guests joined us for a delicious ballpark feast — hot dogs, chips, and sweet treats were enjoyed by all with laughter and smiles.
