SOAR in July (Adaptive Swim & Picnic Lunch)
SOAR July events are for individuals age 13 and older and are as follows:
Friday, July 14th - Adaptive Swim & Picnic Lunch
Time: 9:00 am to 12:30 pm
Cost: $2 for admission
*Let's beat the heat and meet up at the pool! This is a great opportunity to swim without the open swim crowd and noise. The 2 hour session consists of: a Water Safety Lesson, a Water Skill Lesson, and a Water Activity OR Game. Swimmers get to choose how THEY want to spend their time in the pool! Afterwards we will have lunch together and do some crafts or games.
Please Bring: $2 for pool admission, bathing suit, towel, change of clothes, sunscreen, water bottle, and a picnic lunch.

Sunday, July 16th - Escape from the Territorial Prison (Interactive Game)
Time: 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Cost: $10 for admission
*Seasoned criminal Orvy Whipstitch Horvath has escaped Walla Walla’s territorial prison—known to keep company with lowlifes and horse-thieves. SOAR participants will break into search teams and help the law track him down! Horvath took an escape route through Fort Walla Walla and left behind careless clues.
This event is an interactive puzzle through the Museum. The wanted poster might lead participants to a newspaper clipping detailing Orvy’s escape, which might lead them to the horse Orvy stole, and onward. Participants will have to put on their detective hats and use observation skills to trace Orvy’s trail through the grounds—and ultimately, discover the criminal in his hiding spot! Afterwards we will walk over to Mod Pizza and grab a bite to eat!
Please Bring: A water bottle and money ($10) for admission

Monday, July 24th - Pokemon Go Event
Time: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Cost: $5-$10 for Ice Cream
*It's back!! We were FINALLY able to get the much requested event rescheduled! Join us downtown as we walk around in teams and "catch" Pokemon. We will spend about an hour walking around then teams will meet up at Pinecone Creamery for some ice cream. Please be sure to wear sunscreen and dress cool as it is usually pretty warm this time of day. There might even be a little prize at the end!
Please Bring: A water bottle, hat or sunglasses, and money ($5 to $10) for some ice cream!
