"With A Little Help From My Friends" Peer Mentor Training
This training counts for 3 volunteer hours and you will receive a certificate of completion.
This training is offered to high school and middle school students who may want more information regarding how to best communicate and befriend an individual with an intellectual and/or developmental disability.
Trained Peer Mentors are then invited to attend and assist participants in weekly social events or community recreational activities (basketball, baseball, summer camp, etc.).
Snacks will be provided.
