Safety Reminder: SOAR events are designed to be fun, safe, and inclusive. Our volunteers will provide group support and supervision. While we do our best to minimize risks, participants who have a history of elopement (wandering or running) may require additional support from a family member or caregiver (a background check must be completed), especially at public events. Please let us know in advance if your participant may need extra attention so we can plan volunteer coverage accordingly.
LIFT events are for children ages 5-8 with intellectual and developmental disabilities; no prior group experience necessary. Registration for this event closes Wednesday, December 31st.
LIFT is a play-based, structured program where children explore creativity, social skills, and movement in a safe and joyful environment. Sessions run 90 minutes. Participation is encouraged, not forced.
Kick off LIFT with a focus on safety, routine, and learning names. Participants will sing or clap to a name song, decorate a personal name badge, explore sensory bins and activities, enjoy a simple obstacle course, and have free play time.
