Safety Reminder: SOAR events are designed to be fun, safe, and inclusive. Our volunteers will provide group support and supervision. While we do our best to minimize risks, participants who have a history of elopement (wandering or running) may require additional support from a family member or caregiver (a background check must be completed), especially at public events. Please let us know in advance if your participant may need extra attention so we can plan volunteer coverage accordingly.
SOAR events are for individuals age 13 and older. Registration for each event closes the Sunday before the event at 6:00 pm.
Get ready to paint with wool! In this dreamy hand-felting experience, participants will layer and shape colorful, fluffy fibers to create soft, floating designs that look like paintings. Instead of brushes, we’ll blend textures and colors using wool to bring imaginative scenes to life. This sensory-rich activity encourages creativity, patience, and hands-on exploration while supporting fine motor development and artistic confidence. Dinner will be included: Breakfast bar (pancakes, sausage,and fruit)
