Safety Reminder: LIFT & RISE events are designed to be fun, safe, and inclusive. Our volunteers will provide group support and supervision. While we do our best to minimize risks, participants who have a history of elopement (wandering or running) may require additional support from a family member or caregiver (a background check must be completed), especially at public events. Please let us know in advance if your participant may need extra attention so we can plan volunteer coverage accordingly.
LIFT & RISE events are for children ages 5-12 with intellectual and developmental disabilities; no prior group experience necessary. Registration for each event closes the Sunday before the event at 6:00 pm.
Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy the afternoon at CMWW. We will be going after hours so we will be just our group. There will be a variety of activities and opportunities to build friendships and grow in our social skills. This will be a fun event that you won’t want to miss out on!
