Safety Reminder: LIFT & RISE events are designed to be fun, safe, and inclusive. Our volunteers will provide group support and supervision. While we do our best to minimize risks, participants who have a history of elopement (wandering or running) may require additional support from a family member or caregiver (a background check must be completed), especially at public events. Please let us know in advance if your participant may need extra attention so we can plan volunteer coverage accordingly.
LIFT & RISE events are for children ages 5-12 with intellectual and developmental disabilities; no prior group experience necessary. Registration for each event closes the Sunday before the event at 6:00 pm.
Join us for our last event before the Christmas break! We will be enjoying an afternoon of creating gingerbread houses and watching Christmas cartoons! We will be working with our peers, taking turns, and sharing materials as we create our very own gingerbread houses. This will be a fun afternoon that you won’t want to miss!
