Safety Reminder: SOAR events are designed to be fun, safe, and inclusive. Our volunteers will provide group support and supervision. While we do our best to minimize risks, participants who have a history of elopement (wandering or running) may require additional support from a family member or caregiver (a background check must be completed), especially at public events. Please let us know in advance if your participant may need extra attention so we can plan volunteer coverage accordingly.
LIFT events are for children ages 5-8 with intellectual and developmental disabilities; no prior group experience necessary. Registration for this event closes Wednesday, January 31st.
LIFT is a play-based, structured program where children explore creativity, social skills, and movement in a safe and joyful environment. Sessions run 90 minutes. Participation is encouraged, not forced.
Explore identity, choice, and movement in this fun session. Participants will engage in choice-based art, explore sensory bins and activities, enjoy guided movement activity through Danny Go – Talking with My Body | Sign Language Dance and The Color Dance Game, enjoy free play, and share favorite colors during snack time.
